When you have a leader that leaves or is pushed out usually what happens is another leader is sucked into that place. The leader that gets put into that place is usually the opposite of the leader that just left or pushed out. This is where we get leadership vacuum.
Like I said this doesnt have anything to do with President Obama. actually its much much bigger than Obama. The leadership that was shoved to the side is the leadership of God. why did we shove God out the door of our homes? Why did we shove God out the windows of our schools? Why did we shove God out the hatches of our tanks in the military? even our churches have to a certain extent replaced god because of fear of reprisal from our Godless government.
Does anyone remember when we started to tell God we dont need his help anymore? It was during the hippy generation of the sixties. When they use to say make love and not war. Some even called that the sexual revolution. In the sixties they stopped prayer in schools. Even though kids were never forced to pray and now they wont even let the ones that want to pray. It was during that time when america started saying we need to let our kids express themselves. Oh by the way we also started wanting to be our kids best friend instead of their parent. then Dr. Spock came along and said if you spank your child you are destroying his/her self esteem. Now we cant even check our kids locker for drugs without a search warrant. Do you see what started this though. We took prayer and God out of the schools in the sixties.
Lets talk about shoving God out of our homes now. I wonder how many of us dont pray with our kids before meals. I'll raise my hand to that. how many of us have caved in and said to our 16-17 year olds that sex is bad when you're not married BUT if youre gonna do it then practice safe sex. How many of us parents have actually sat down with our kids and explained why abortion and gay marriage is bad. We even had a president who said oral sex is not sex. A society that says we are expecting to much out of our kids by preaching abstinence. Im curious, where is your family bible? You know, the one that use to be on the coffee table? Do we even care what our kids are watching on T.V. HBO came out in the seventies then all this other stuff followed suit but we cant blame things for us not talking to our kids and maybe even our marriages falling apart. We can blame it on escorting God out our front door.
My last example is taking God out of the military and the church. I know youre saying WHAT? what do you mean taking God out of the church? first lets talk about the military. Did you know our chaplains cant say homosexuality is wrong now? Now as you know gays and lesbians can go in the military and chaplains can not say its wrong to be gay. It is against the Uniform Code of Military Justice or UCMJ. But thats no different than churches cant say some things just so they can keep their tax exempt status now is it? Churches are doing the same thing, they are letting the government pay them off to not say certain things. How long do you think it will take for the government to tell churches they cant talk bad about the gay and lesbian lifestyle or they lose their precious tax exempt status? Our churches already cant say we would never make that deal because they already have. The churches cant tell you they endorse the candidate that is God fearing over the flaming liberal. this all started 30 years ago when the tax exemption for churches started.
So this whole entry all comes down to the last three paragraphs. So first things first, the churches need to not worry about the tax exempt status and be true to the members of their churches. Tell the truth no matter what the government says. Remember what the definition of courage is "the definition of courage is to do what is right even though you're afraid".
So who do you think stepped in when we kicked God out of our schools, homes and military? Are you thinking the same thing I am? Could it be possible that the new satan is trying to wiggle his way in? Now dont get me wrong. We can throw satan out and annoint God as the leader of this country once again. He is wanting to step back into that place again but we have to do certain things and those certain things is different for each person. So pray and figure out yours
Now for the final thought. I want to make sure everyone that reads this knows I do not frequent a church weekly. I dont want to be called a hypocrite because im saying this so im telling you now. I like my beer, I like my football and nascar and I also have a rum and coke from time to time but I also pray everyday. I try with gods help to stay upbeat. I also do my best to be a good representative of god. Luke 19-39 & 40 says "And some of the pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, master, rebuke thy disciples. And he answered and said unto them, i tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out." i guess im a stone!!
